Starting November, Chinese packages will cost (at least) 2 euros more

Starting November 1, there will be an additional fee of 2 euros per product type on packages coming from outside the European Union, on top of the current 3-euro parcel tax. With this move, Europe is further increasing pressure on low-cost Chinese online retailers such as Temu, Shein, and AliExpress , just ahead of the holiday season.

Up to 5 euros per product category

The EU does not charge the 2 euros per package, but per declaration line. For example, if you order ten identical T-shirts, you pay 2 euros once. If the same package also contains a hat, the fee increases to 4 euros.
