Omnichat, a Hong Kong marketing and customer service platform that runs on chat apps, raised a $10 million Series A led by Openspace Capital and plans to use it to build out its AI agents and expand outside Asia Pacific. Omnichat launched the agents this year to handle tasks inside chats on WhatsApp, LINE, Instagram, WeChat, and TikTok, where they can write campaigns from a single prompt, recommend products and complete orders, and answer customer service questions around the clock. A separate analytics agent tracks shopper behavior and ties revenue back to individual conversations, including sales that close in physical stores.
