Allegro 向乌克兰消费者开放平台下单
Allegro opens to consumers in Ukraine
Polish online marketplace Allegro is opening up its platform to consumers in Ukraine. It is not launching a local marketplace in the country. Instead, products can be ordered and shipped through the Polish website.
This was announced by the online marketplace in a post in its Help Center last week. Allegro is the biggest ecommerce player in Poland. In the first half of this year, the Allegro Group GMV increased by almost 14 percent compared to the same period last year. In that same period, the company’s international GMV increased by almost 65 percent.
Selling and delivering to Ukraine
Allegro already has localized marketplaces in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Earlier this year, it sold its operations in Slovenia and Croatia. This was done because the company wanted to streamline its financial results. But now, the Polish marketplace is expanding its market.
Sales to Ukraine will take place through Allegro.pl
Sales and delivery to Ukraine can now take place through Allegro.pl. The company has added new provisions to its terms and conditions, which are regarding sales and purchases in Ukraine. For example, buyers can not resell their products to Russia, Belarus or territories occupied by Russia. The Allegro Buyer Protection program has also been updates with rules regarding purchases with delivery to Ukraine.
